Reinforced bulk bags, also known as flexible bulk bags or space bags, are a type of packaging material specially designed to enhance load-bearing capacity and are usually used to transport and store bulk materials. They have the characteristics of large volume, light weight, and easy loading and unloading.
Material and Structure
Reinforced ton bags are usually made of polypropylene (PP), which has high strength and durability. The production process includes melting polypropylene into filaments, then stretching and heat setting, and finally making high-strength and low-elongation PP raw filaments. These raw filaments are then made into the base fabric of plastic woven cloth through processes such as weaving and laminating, and then sewn with accessories such as slings to form a complete ton bag.
Load-bearing capacity and specifications
The load capacity of reinforced ton bags ranges from 0.3 tons to 2 tons, and the volume ranges from 500-2300 liters. Its insurance factor can be designed to be 3:1, 5:1 or 6:1 according to user needs. The shape of the ton bag can be round, square or U-shaped, and the lifting structure can be top-lifting, side-lifting and bottom-lifting, usually equipped with inlet and outlet ports.
Application scenarios
Reinforced ton bags are widely used in the transportation packaging of powdered, granular and chemical products, and are particularly suitable for logistics and industrial applications that require high load-bearing capacity. Due to their moisture-proof, dust-proof and radiation-resistant properties, reinforced ton bags are also widely used in international trade freight.
